Movie 9 Announced?

For the Spring of 2008, they announce their decision, to make the chapter of Drum Island a theatrical movie?

It'll follow Movie 8's footsteps, which was called "Episode of Arabasta: The Desert Princess and the Pirates". It seems that the Drum Island arc will be re-animated the same way, becoming the 9th movie of One Piece, titled "Episode of the Island of Perpetual Winter".

If you're an avid collector of the popular Portrait Of Pirates figures, you might've been itching to have MegaHouse create a Franky P.O.P.. Your wishes have come true!

As well as Franky, the creation of the Neo figures continue. Ace and Vivi will also be a part of Neo-2. These figures will be released in October (one month after the release of the Luffy and Nami Neo-1 re-issue) for 4,000 yen, with exception to Franky who will be sold for 4,500 yen. Pre-orders are available at 1999.co.jp.

Funimation Dub Voice Cast

I'm sorry I was late! The long-awaited announcement at this year's AX, the voice cast:

Sometime next year, Movie 8 will be released by Funimation. Also next year, their first uncut DVD will be released, and something that will please all is that they will be allowed to use Zoro (instead of Zolo) on the subs!

Lastly, it is said that they will be taking the Yu Yu Hakusho approach for the openings. You will probably expect the openings to be translated and sang into English.
